Optimism is ringing out around the world as lockdown exit plans are announced and regulations are relaxed. We are already seeing unprecedented demand for live entertainment, but we're not out of the woods yet and the effects of COVID will linger for years to come. Be it social distancing and increased demand for contactless solutions or the longer term shift of reducing environmental impact and sustainability, organizers are going to have to embrace a number of changes that will be here to stay.

We're not big fans of the phrase "the new normal", but in this case, the phrase seems appropriate. So, we've scoured the internet (there's a lot of stuff out there) and collaborated with industry experts to provide some inspiration for you to find creative and innovative ways to adjust your events to government regulations and keep your audience safe. There's no one way to host an event in these uncertain times and this guide is by no means an end all, be all.

That said, this playbook is so much more than safety - it’s about coming together, helping the community and improving the way we do things now so events can return bigger and better than before. Be sure to check back regularly as we're constantly on the lookout for new solutions and adding new pages when we find insights worth sharing. If you have any information you'd like to contribute, please don't hesitate to give us a shout!
